Preparation & Painting the panels

Start with a white ground color (priming) to prime the plywood panels on both sides.
This will hide any knots, stains or discoloring of the wood, and, if you're going to paint the walls in a different topcoat, it ensures you'll end up with the desired color. A foam paint roller and a tray will come in handy for this job.

After you finished priming the panels (on both sides), it's time to choose the color scheme for the wallpaints, wallpapers, carpets and tiles, and even curtains or roller blinds.
The trick is to blend those colors you like into a pleasing combination..
If you've found some nice printed (wall)paper or (carpet/curtain)fabric, use this print as a guide to help you in choosing other colors to go in the room.
