I read some tutorials on the This Is Blythe forum about how to foil and rim the eye chips (after you finally got them out).
I was lucky to have some foiling paper already, and punched the pupil hole with a standard perforator, as far from the paper edges as allowed.
Then I pushed the chip in and carefully trimmed the foil close around the edges.
The pictures below show foiled, foiled and rimmed, and the original eyechips.

Round and round
I tried to figure out how I could draw a perfect rim, and discovered that I could use the hood of a drawing-pin as a guide. I took the cut foil, placed the hood over it, stabbed a pin in it (and in my desk) to hold it in place and drew the rim with a black permanent marker. (If you do this on a piece of soft wood or cork instead of your desk, you can ofcourse use the whole drawing-pin!)
Look here to see my girls new foiled and rimmed eyechips!
